Join Us today, Saturday July 13th, for "String Fling!!"

We're at the Chewelah City Park from 12:30 - 3pm as part of the Children's Art Festival!

Kids and their families will create a vibrant, interactive work of art that will shift and evolve throughout the day.

Each child will be given a ball of colorful yarn or vinyl tape and encouraged to toss, weave, and wrap it in any way they want. Together, they'll create an incredible, ever-changing, multi-colored structure to play, bounce, and explore. The creative inspiration will be fueled by a curated soundtrack of energizing, playful music.

String Fling is a collaborative experience, brought to you by participatory artist, Larah Ritchie & her husband, Chuck Ritchie. Larah designs experiences that creates opportunities for delight in their own creativity, embrace joyful incompetence, & experience the power of collective creativity.

The Workshop is buzzing with life again! Come on out and make something great with us!!

We're working with the Chewelah Creative District to build the gorgeous new wayfinding signs. We're also the central point for the work being done on the information kiosk.

We could use lots of extra hands to get these projects done before the deadline. Check out the link below for the list of volunteer opportunities. There are jobs for all levels of skill and physical ability.

Just imagine, years from now, pointing to the wayfinding signs and saying, "I made that."
