At NE Washington Pickleball Association, we believe in the generosity of local communities and their ability to take on challenges large and small. We have launched our campaign, to help the Chewelah School District repair the leaking gymnasium roof where indoor pickleball is played in Chewelah. The goal is to raise $5,000 and with the community’s help we are halfway to the goal. The gymnasium is part of a historic school building. It has served the Chewelah community since 1911 and the roof repair is a small price to pay for its enduring and continuing service as a place for school athletic activities and a public venue for indoor pickleball during the winter. NEWPA will match the first $2,500 donated to this campaign. Pickleball players and students alike will benefit from a safer place to play during the winter. The funds will expedite repairs and stop further damage to the building. NEWPA asks you to make a donation to repair the roof and preserve this landmark building's use into the future. NEWPA is a 501(c)(3) organization, so any donation is eligible for a Federal Tax deduction. You can make an online donation by copying the link below and pasting it in your web browser address box. https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/donation-form/roof-repair-at-jenkins-middle-school You can also make donations at https://NEWPA.club and learn more about pickleball in Northeast Washington.
