Back-to-School Blessings! 📚💙💛

As our children head back to school, we pause to celebrate the amazing legacy of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
Our Seven Illustrious Founders were educators, women who understood that education is a powerful pathway to service, empowerment, and progress.
To all of our Sorors who are mothers, grandmothers, guardians, educators, and caregivers—may this school year be filled with growth, confidence, protection, and success for our children.

This past weekend, the Eta Iota Sigma family came together for our Annual Chapter Retreat—a time to reconnect, reflect, and prepare for the year ahead.

💙 Friday, we kicked off the weekend with a virtual game night, strengthening our bonds through laughter and friendly competition.

💛 Saturday, chapter officers, committee chairs, Philos, and undergraduate Sorors shared their goals, vision, and plans for the upcoming sorority year. Together, we embraced our theme and committed ourselves to the 7 Rs: Reclaim our purpose, Restore our connections, Reset our mindset, Reignite our passion for service, Refocus on our mission, Renew our commitment to sisterhood, and Rise to new heights of excellence.

💙 Sunday, several Sorors participated in a calming sound bath experience, taking intentional time to rest, recharge, and renew both mind and spirit.

As we embark on this new sorority year, we are excited to put the 7 Rs into action as we continue advancing Greater Service, Greater Progress—together, as one sisterhood.

Our goal is to provide 30 backpacks for students in Grades K–2, and we asking for your support! Every item purchased from our wish list helps a child start the school year prepared and ready to learn.

On November 8, 2025, at the beautiful Wellspring Manor, the members of the Eta Iota Sigma Chapter hosted The Rhoyal Refresh: A Celebration of Sisterhood. This special gathering was dedicated to reflecting on our past, embracing the present, and illuminating the path ahead.

Throughout the day, we engaged in moments of wisdom, inspiration, and unity. With the support of our distinguished guest speakers, we honored the rich foundation of our chapter and our beloved sorority—reinforcing the bonds that continue to uplift and empower us.
