NEED YOUR HELP!
Seeking Descendants of Cheviot’s WWII Fallen Heroes
The Cheviot Historical Society, in partnership with the City of Cheviot, Green Township VFW Post 10380, and the Cheviot Eagles, is reaching out to the community for help.
As we prepare for our Memorial Day observances, we are searching for the descendants and relatives of the 27 brave men listed on the Cheviot Memorial Building plaque who gave their lives during World War II. It is our goal to ensure their families are recognized and present during a special tribute to their sacrifice.
Event Schedule: Memorial Day
The Parade: Starts at 11:00 AM Bridgetown Cemetery, follows Bridgetown Rd. to Harrison Ave., and concludes at Glenmore Ave. with a 21-gun salute.
The Ceremony & Luncheon: Hosted by the Cheviot Eagles starting at 11:45 AM. The public is invited to attend.
