Did you know that the Deer Lakes Backpack program sends home nearly 200 backpacks to children in need every Friday during the school year? The children have breakfast and lunch during the week but many go home to no food on the weekends. Mrs. McCaskey is making sure these children have breakfast and lunch items over the weekend too!

As you can imagine, this is costly!! Deer Lakes Backpack is having a fundraiser at Primanti Bros on Route 8 on Thursday, September 5th. 20% of all receipts will benefit Deer Lakes Backpack. Help Mrs. McCaskey raise funds for kids in need while you fill your belly with some delicious food! Its a win-win situation!
