And that’s a wrap for the 2026 Girl Scouts Cookie Rally! Our girls met this year’s mascot, Shirley the Black-footed Ferret, learned about the newest, Rocky-Road inspired cookie “Exploremores”, created personal cookie goals, and practiced selling cookies.

February 22nd is World Thinking Day, so our meeting focused on this year’s theme: Our Story: Reflecting the symbolism and values of our Movement.

Our first activity was a letter to our future self that the girls will open one year from today! The letter expresses what they hope for the future, such as education for all kids, no pollution, healthcare for all, end homelessness, end all wars, and more.

The second activity was role playing speaking up for others. Each girl took a turn speaking up for another girl in a series of skits, so the girls learn how to use their voices and gain self confidence.

The last activity was a Confidence Self-Portrait, where they drew pictures of themselves and what they liked most about themselves.

The Girl Scouts teaches girls many great things, and self-confidence is one of the most important! Great job, girls!

Make sure you thank your Troop Leaders, Cookie Leaders, and Cookie Moms! Our troop leaders faced windy, rainy 37 degree temperatures to pick up 1,541 boxes (or 65 cases) of Girl Scout cookies! 🍪 Keep your eye out for booth sales around Pittsburgh starting in the next 2 weeks 🥳

Pictures of the last two meetings! We’re working on three new petals: Considerate and Caring, Courageous and Strong, and Responsible for what I say and Do. Our Daisies are pictured here making kindness bags for family members, decorating bags for THEMSELVES on what makes them feel courageous and strong (lots of unicorns and pets lol), and what it means to be responsible. They also worked together to move across the room using 3 Hula Hoops, learning how their actions affect others and how to work together to accomplish a goal. So proud!
