Ever to Excel and AMDG share a common mission: accompanying young people as they explore faith, purpose, and service through Jesuit spirituality.

We’re grateful to be part of this work at Boston College through the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College and we're excited to welcome the next cohort of AMDG participants to Ever to Excel this summer!

Some 300 young people from across the country are participating in a BC pilot program that seeks to promote the renewal and expansion of Catholic faith practices with a yearlong immersion in faith exploration and service through Jesuit spirituality.

The program - AMDG - is being operated by the Institute for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College and supported through a $10 million grant from Lilly Endowment, Inc. through its National Youth and Young Adult Initiative on Faith and Service.

The participants come from Boston College and 24 other Jesuit institutions—high schools, colleges/universities, and parishes—across 18 states.

“Though each participant has a different background and experience, what ties them together is an openness to Catholic belief and practice,” said AMDG Program Director William Healy.

Day 5 of our participants focused on Mission + Motivation 🙏
Our speakers offered inspiring words throughout the day, and participants learned about BC Alum and hero Welles Crowther. After which, even in the rain they walked and prayed BC’s Memorial Labyrinth, which is dedicated to the BC alum who lost their lives on 9/11.
Finally, we ended our day with the wonderful artist who led our participants in drawing with imagination ✍️
