Boston Bulldogs Running Club

Boston Bulldogs Running Club A co-ed 501(c)3 non-profit running club established to provide a community of support for all those adversely affected by addiction.

The Boston Bulldogs Running Club are a co-ed 501(c)3 non-profit running club established to provide an anonymous and safe community of wellness and support for all those adversely affected by addiction - those in recovery, their families and friends, the clinical community and the community at large.

The Club promotes an integrated approach to wellness and self-leadership in recovery on a journe

y to discover the kind-hearted warrior and true potential within each of us. The Bulldogs have a history dating back to 2008 when the Club was established by Coach Mike Ferullo, as the HopeFound Bulldogs at the Shattuck Hospital shelter. The Club was adopted by Pine Street Inn in 2012 to provide members with the opportunity to participate in a positive social and wellness program supporting their recovery. Now, the Boston Bulldogs Running Club has been reinvented as an independent entity to offer support to those battling all forms of addiction, as well as their friends, family and supporters, across greater Boston. We welcome and encourage runners (and walkers) of all levels – dreamers, beginners, as well as those with running experience, past or present. Our volunteers will be there to coach and encourage you whatever your current level, and help you set and meet your wellness goals. We can provide help with running gear and transportation if needed. We meet twice weekly at the Reservoir (Cleveland Circle/Reservoir Green Line C or D train) - on Thursday evenings at 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings at 9:00 am. Quincy runs meet on Monday nights at 6:30pm in front of Thomas Crane library.

Our South Shore chapter of the Bulldogs meets weekly at Nelson Memorial Park on Nelson Street in Plymouth, MA - Tuesdays evenings at 6:30 pm (or at Marathon Sports in Plymouth between 12/1 - 3/31). Finally, our newest chapter of the Bulldogs in Worcester, MA meets on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at Lake Quinsigamond State Park (or at Sneakerama on Lake St between 12/1 - 3/31). Sunday Trail Runs at 8:30 AM take place at various locations - check our website for more info.

Huge thanks to Rosemary Powers, Dr. Tom Ryan, and Matt Fitzsimons of Cristo Rey Boston High School for inviting the Boston Bulldogs Running Club to this extraordinary, mission-centered event.

Huge shoutout to our Friends of the Bulldogs and In-Kind Donors! πŸ™

Your support powers our Boston Marathon Team and made the 2026 Run for Recovery 5K & Tribute at Franklin Park a massive success. Because of you, our community was able to come together to celebrate recovery and remember loved ones lost.

We are deeply grateful to everyone standing alongside the recovery community. 🐾
