Dr. Donella Meadows, a scientist and one of the premier experts in sustainability, talks about the importance of visioning when trying to create a sustainable world. What do we want for the world? It's not childish or naive or a waste of time to think about what the collective WE really WANTS and to think about what a sustainable world would look like. There are great things happening in Baywood Village, the community that has been the focus of Sustainable Delmarva's efforts over the past year. There will be a picnic to celebrate the groundbreaking at the site of the community's new playground set this Friday June 26 4pm - 6pm in Baywood Village. All are welcomed!

Another successful community conversation facilitated by Sustainable Delmarva took place December 11th. This time it was to determine what is possible for Baywood Village in Fairlee.

FAIRLEE — More than 35 people from Kent County and beyond participated in the Baywood Village community conversation Thursday night, Dec. 11, at Potters House Ministries.

Kent County, MD Diversity Dialogue Group turns 4 this week!

On August 14, 2010 a group came together due to a lack of diversity of attendees at the "World Cafe" that the Town of Chestertown held earlier that summer.

Four years later that group is still meeting under the name of the Diversity Dialogue Group. This informal group meets on the second Monday of Each month and at this evening's meeting they marked their 4th Anniversary.
