Dr. Donella Meadows, a scientist and one of the premier experts in sustainability, talks about the importance of visioning when trying to create a sustainable world. What do we want for the world? It's not childish or naive or a waste of time to think about what the collective WE really WANTS and to think about what a sustainable world would look like. It's an essential part of the work that we must do to make progress. That's what Sustainable Delmarva is out to do. Thanks to the Donella Meadows Institute (www.donellameadows.org) for this video.

Kent County, MD Diversity Dialogue Group turns 4 this week!

On August 14, 2010 a group came together due to a lack of diversity of attendees at the "World Cafe" that the Town of Chestertown held earlier that summer.

Four years later that group is still meeting under the name of the Diversity Dialogue Group. This informal group meets on the second Monday of Each month and at this evening's meeting they marked their 4th Anniversary.
