📚 Community Call to Action! 📚

While book donations are taking a temporary break, there are still plenty of ways to support your library.

Have you ever wanted to play a bigger role in making our community programs, book sales, and literacy efforts happen?Join the Board of the Friends of the Kent County Public Library!

Since 1973, the Friends have supported KCPL through fundraising, cultural programs, and advocacy. We are looking for passionate community members to help guide our future.

Who can apply? Current members of the Friends (individual memberships start at just $10/year).
What do we do? Meet monthly at the Chestertown branch, organize our popular semi-annual book sales, and fund vital library needs!

How to apply: Download an application from the Library Supporters page at kentcountylibrary.org or pick up a paper copy at any KCPL location.

For more information, visit friendsofthekcpl.org or reach out to Friends President Deborah Collier at [email protected].
