NEW BOAT ALERT!!
Welcome to the Downrigging lineup, schooner Hindu!
A 79-foot vessel, built in 1925 in Maine and designed by William H. Hand Jr., Hindu is modeled after a 19th-century Grand Banks fishing schooner, she has served in roles ranging from ocean racing and global trade to World War II coastal patrol. In the postwar years, she helped pioneer whale watching on the East Coast. Today, privately owned, Hindu sails seasonally between Provincetown and Key West, offering passengers a chance to experience a historic working schooner under sail.
