Vets on Track Foundation, Inc. Vision Statement

Our vision is to create a future where no veteran or first responder faces homelessness, hopelessness, or isolation alone.

Our Foundation empowers military veterans, first responders, and their families by providing access to critical resources, supportive programming, and community-driven initiatives that promote stability, resiliency, and purpose beyond service. Mission Statement

The Vets on Track Foundation is committed to helping veterans and first responders transition from homelessness and crisis into stable, h

ope-filled lives by connecting them with housing support, community resources, Welcome Home initiatives, and compassionate partnerships that restore dignity, purpose, and self-worth. Through collaboration with local and national organizations, businesses, and volunteers, we work to transform empty spaces into homes while building a stronger support network for those who served our communities and our nation. The Vets on Track Foundation strives to build a nationwide network of community partnerships, housing stabilization programs, and peer-driven support initiatives that empower heroes to rebuild their lives with pride, stability, healing, and renewed purpose.

The world has lost one of its most admired and beloved individuals—Dolly Parton.

Dolly was one of two country music legends I always dreamed of meeting, with Reba McEntire being the other. She was far more than an extraordinary singer and songwriter; she was a brilliant businesswoman, a generous philanthropist, a woman of deep faith, and a shining example of what it means to use success in service to others.

Although our Foundation never had the opportunity to work with Dolly, her compassion, humility, and commitment to helping people reflected the very spirit of service we strive to embody. She proved that you could achieve tremendous success without ever forgetting where you came from—or the people who needed a helping hand.

Dolly Parton leaves behind more than an incredible collection of music. She leaves a legacy of kindness, generosity, faith, laughter, and love that will continue inspiring generations.

Rest in peace, Dolly. Thank you for sharing your heart—and your remarkable gifts—with the world.

A New Chapter for the Vets on Track Foundation

After nearly 10 years of service through our Beyond the Streets Program, the Vets on Track Foundation is preparing to begin a new chapter.

Beyond the Streets became the cornerstone of our Foundation. Together with an extraordinary network of volunteers, donors, case managers, businesses, and community partners, we helped furnish more than 1,600 homes for veterans and first responders transitioning from homelessness and crisis.

Those weren’t simply furniture deliveries. They were Welcome Home moments. They restored dignity, created hope, and reminded people who had served our nation and communities that they had not been forgotten.

We are incredibly proud of what we accomplished.

But strong organizations must also recognize when it is time to evolve.

After considerable reflection, we have made the difficult decision to close the Beyond the Streets Program and redirect our resources toward a new mission that we believe represents an important next chapter for Vets on Track.

Introducing The Final Mile Initiative

The Final Mile Initiative will provide trained volunteer Ambassadors who offer compassionate, non-clinical companionship to veterans and first responders receiving hospice or end-of-life care.

Our Ambassadors will sit beside those who served. They will listen to their stories. Honor their sacrifice. Support their families through presence and recognition. And, perhaps most importantly, remind them that their community has not forgotten them.

Our role is simple:

Show up. Listen. Honor. Remember. Remain present.

We cannot change the destination, but we can help change how someone experiences the journey.

This transition does not erase Beyond the Streets. It builds upon it.

For nearly a decade, we walked through the front door carrying furniture and helped turn empty spaces into homes.

Now, we will walk through another door—sometimes during one of life’s most difficult moments—to simply sit beside someone and say:

We see you.
We remember you.
Your service mattered.
And you will not travel this Final Mile alone.

To everyone who helped make Beyond the Streets possible: thank you. You helped write an extraordinary chapter in the history of the Vets on Track Foundation.

Now it’s time to write the next one.

Businesses Supporting Heroes. Communities Building Bridges.

As we look ahead to 2027, the Vets on Track Foundation is creating new opportunities for businesses of every size to stand alongside our veterans, first responders, and their families.

Whether your company wants to make a direct investment in our mission or rally employees, customers, and the community around a larger campaign, there is a way to get involved.

🇺🇸 2027 Bridge Builders Business Alliance

The Bridge Builders Business Alliance is designed for businesses that want to become ongoing partners in the Vets on Track Foundation's work.

Bridge Builders provide consistent financial support that helps strengthen and expand our programs, including our Beyond the Streets Program and Fallen Heroes Initiative.

Alliance members become part of a network of businesses committed to helping veterans and first responders successfully transition from homelessness, supporting the families of our Fallen Heroes, and strengthening the communities we all call home.

⭐ 100 for Heroes Business Alliance Campaign

The 100 for Heroes Campaign brings businesses together around a simple goal: 100 businesses joining forces to make a meaningful collective impact.

It is an opportunity for local and regional companies to demonstrate their commitment to those who have served our country and our communities while encouraging other businesses to step forward and do the same.

🤝 More Than a Donation

Our goal for 2027 isn't simply to find sponsors. We want to build long-term relationships with businesses that believe in our mission.

Businesses can get involved through financial support, employee engagement, cause-marketing opportunities, community outreach, in-kind support, and by helping us introduce the Foundation to other companies that want to make a difference.

When businesses come together behind a common purpose, their impact reaches far beyond a single contribution.

You run your business. We serve the mission. Together, we build the bridge.

If your company is looking for a meaningful way to support veterans, first responders, and their families in 2027, we would love to have you at the table.

🇺🇸 Become a Bridge Builder. Stand for our Heroes. Help us strengthen the mission. Reach out at [email protected] for more information.
