This is why this association needs to have a page that checks them. They are advertising on their baseball flier that they were 2023 Pony American Champions. As you can see they forfeited it due to violating rules.

Hate to break it to you, but your coach is CRAZY. 💯 💥

• Family sacrifice
• Unqualified individuals questioning everything
• LONG hours
• Attached to the phone for texts, calls & emails
• Time away (from home)
• Low to no compensation
• “Duties as Assigned” taking on a whole new meaning as issues arise concerning grades, athletes, parents, etc.

Who the heck would actually put themselves through this?
Your coach would.
Your coach is crazy.

No sane individual takes on this responsibility at any level of the sport simply for the love of the game. It’s not for the accolades or wins. We definitely don’t do it for the money.

It’s all about that 1 in 10 kid that comes back and thanks us for being in their corner through their student-athlete experience - no matter the level. That one individual letting us know we had any kind of positive impact as a coach or mentor is incredibly addicting, and keeps us coming back through all the hits we take on a daily basis both on and off the field.

Whether it was initially to coach our own that we fell in love with the game, we stayed because of the light we see in an athletes face when they have that “ah-ha” moment.

So, to the kid that didn’t think they could and did, thank you.

To the kid that trusted us and got uncomfortable for the sake of improvement, thank you.

Thank you for not trying to control the joy in your face when the lightbulb turned on.

You are our “why”.

You are why we’re crazy

Well, sadly, they keep running people off. What was once strong across the Executive Board and across all sports is now in such a sad state. People are catching on to who the problem is, but the damage is done. How long has this been running without a President? That should have been grounds for dissolution. No President, Vice-President or Secretary and only a stand in Treasurer? A 501C3 that doesn't follow by-laws & hasn't had a President for months? 🤔 What a mess
