Journey of Hope 4 Autism Closed! We are offering equine assisted services to people with mental health, human development and Healing needs. Our programs are low cost.

We specialize in teaching children with autism, but not limited to. Our equine services helps build bonds and trust and allow everyone to open up with nature. Horses and people have great healing powers and that is what this is all about. Social media Policy:

Hello friends and followers. I like to inform you that journey of hope is closed. We retired our horses and have decided to close this chapter. I have enjoyed working with evry person, child and family over the past 14 years. Yall have taught me so much and have made me the person I am today. I am foe2ver your friend. I will keep my page up a while but you can always reach me via text message 804-833-8550 or find me on Facebook. The horses have found great homes to live there life out with no more work. They are all settl3d in nicely to there new homes. Thank you for yalls support over the years.

I am so sad to close JOH. I have watch the kids grow up before my eyes. I hope that I and the organization not on put smiles on your children faces but gave them something they will carry the rest of their lives
Whether it be love. New friends and how to make more. Be stronger or more balanced. Learn to volunteer and run a fundraisr. And so much more. I have enjoyed the parents of these awesome children. Yall have been my support system through the bad and good. You cried with me and you laughed with me. We have shared the word of God together and we have seen hisbword in play at JOH. With this great JOh family i would not be the person I am today. Praise God!
I give all my clients permission to let your children to text or call me anytime and any reason the want. I want them to know I have not abandoned them and I am still their friend. 804-833-8550.

R.i.P my old friend.
I am a leap of faith, aka “Dallas”

Dallas is now playing In heaven pain free. My pray for him is that he will get the use of all his legs and one day be one of the horses Jesus comes back on. Revelation talk a lot about riding down on horses. He has earned that honor.

I bought Dallas as 4 month old. He was my first and only baby horse. He was talk and spunky. He was born to a lead mare so he had that i am entitled to being the leader attitude he got from her. Around 2 years old his leg started to change and his club foot was very bad. He had surgery and all to try and correct it enough to walk. Which he did with a very obvious limp. Over the years Dallas has been a great baby sitter for other horses and people. He did a cancer camp one time and has been great in our program. He is a natural clown and loves to give smiles for treats. Which has made him famous in our community. Who does not love a smiling horse.
Today we put him down for his leg is so bad he can barely walk. It was tough but we love him so much he can no longer suffer. He was 22 years old.

I loved having everyone out Saturday to spoil Dallas one last time. I know he felt y’all’s love, I did!
