Supporting Independence During World Autism Month 💙

This April, The Arya Foundation reaffirms its commitment to supporting children with autism and developmental disabilities by providing essential adaptive equipment.

Recently, we provided a Tumble Trk cuddle box to a child and his parents. said "LOVES the Tumbl Trak! The Arya Foundation completely made this little boys dreams come true to have equipment to support his deep pressure sensory needs. Without you guys we would not be able to get this equipment at all. He's able to meet sensory needs and tame his emotions and outbursts through this already. We cannot thank you enough. “

Innovative tools like the Tumble Trak Cuddle Box help children overcome sensory barriers and engage more fully in their daily lives. Our collaborative approach with therapists and parents ensures that each child receives equipment tailored to their unique needs, fostering physical and emotional growth.

Join us in empowering these remarkable children to reach their full potential and lead self-sufficient lives.

Indoor Sensory Swing 💙

For children with special needs, an Indoor Sensory Swing is more than just fun. It provides vital vestibular input that helps with emotional regulation, focus, and physical balance. It’s a safe haven for kids to decompress and grow.

The Arya Foundation provides this life-changing equipment to families in the Greater St. Louis area, but we need your help to reach the next child on our list.

Aubrey remembers what it was like to move, eat, and breathe on her own. 🌸

Aubrey lives with a rare, rapidly progressive disease. Within just 10 months of her first symptoms, Aubrey became wheelchair-bound. While the diagnosis has taken her physical strength, her spirit and her memories remain fully intact—and she misses the simple joy of swinging more than anything.

Because insurance often deems adaptive equipment a "luxury," families like Aubrey’s are left to find the funds on their own. The Arya Foundation is honored to provide limited grant funding toward a specialized wheelchair swing. This isn't just a piece of equipment; it’s a way for Aubrey to safely rejoin her favorite activity with her mom by her side.

We don't believe joy is a luxury. We believe it's a necessity.

We are 100% volunteer-run, meaning your donations go directly to kids like Aubrey. Help us turn challenges into opportunities: www.TheAryaFoundation.org/donate

At The Arya Foundation, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to pursue happiness.

Meet Rae. 🌟 Rae is a tiny warrior navigating several health challenges.

Because she is non-verbal and struggles with self-regulation, sensory tools aren't just "toys"—they are essentials. For the past month, Rae has been using a borrowed Spin Disc to help her body feel calm and regulated. But at the end of this month, she has to give it back.

The Arya Foundation is honored to step in. By providing Rae with her very own Spin Disc, we are ensuring she doesn't lose the progress she’s made. We turn challenges into opportunities, one child at a time. 💖

Help us fund the next "Rae." Donate today: www.TheAryaFoundation.org/donate

The world moves fast, but some of the most beautiful moments happen when everything slows down. 🕒✨

We’re talking about that quiet, breath-holding stillness when a child finally gets that one toy to click into place. The level of concentration in those eyes isn’t just about play—it’s about problem-solving, fine motor persistence, and the pure "I did it!" triumph that follows.

At **The Arya Foundation**, we understand that for many children with disabilities, "just playing" requires incredible effort. That’s why our Adaptive Toy Drive and Equipment Project are so vital. We provide the specific tools—from switch-adapted toys to specialized seating—that allow these moments of focus to turn into milestones of success.

Your support helps us bring more "clicks" to families across the Greater St. Louis area. 90%+ of every individual donation goes directly to equipment and toys for these resilient kids.

To the outside world, it’s just a "scenic route." To our families, it’s the third time circling the block to find the one ramp that isn’t blocked by a delivery truck. 🚚🚫

In the lives of families with children who have disabilities, the "extra mile" isn't a metaphor—it's a daily reality. These small, quiet hurdles often go unnoticed, but they require a mountain of patience and resilience.

Sometimes, the biggest victories aren’t found in grand gestures—they’re in the small, quiet, and very real moments that happen right at home. For many of our families, a simple thumbs-up isn’t just a gesture; it’s the best conversation of the day and a powerful breakthrough in communication.

Some of the biggest wins don’t happen on a stage—they happen in the quiet of a Tuesday morning. That feeling when the socks finally go on without a struggle? That’s more than just a routine; it’s a victory for independence.

The coffee is cold for the third time today, but the morning routine is finally finished. In this house, we don’t just call that a day—we call it a massive win. ☕️🏆

For families of children with disabilities, a "simple" morning routine can involve specialized therapies, complex transitions, and a lot of adaptive equipment. It takes patience, resilience, and a whole lot of heart.

Every donation we receive helps a parent get one step closer to a win (and maybe even a hot cup of coffee).

"I am a child, and I need my privacy, too." 🛡️💙

For children with special needs, independence and dignity go hand-in-hand. While support from caregivers is vital, every child deserves the autonomy to explore their world on their own terms.

The Arya Foundation provides the adaptive equipment—from mobility tools to communication devices—that gives kids the "keys" to their own private world and the freedom to just be themselves. 🗝️✨

How you can help:
💰 Donate: 90%+ of donations go directly to providing equipment.
📢 Advocate: Support environments that honor the privacy and dignity of all children.

Our Story

The Arya Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization (Tax ID # 46-5460018) that spreads disability awareness and provides need-based adaptive equipment to children with different abilities.

The Arya Foundation is started by Sunanda, Dhananjay, and their son Ajinkya in memory of their loving daughter, Arya, who left at an early age of 5. Initially, The Arya Foundation funded a family by providing an adjustable bed for a child with sleep apnea. Since then, The Arya Foundation has gradually grown with generous support from the board members, volunteers, and donors.

The Arya Foundation believes in "Turning challenges into opportunities!"

Early intervention and community inclusion are crucial for the development of children with different abilities. Intervention for children with special needs is usually expensive and results in an enormous emotional and financial burden on families. Parents have to deal with the emotional stress of a child's disability and the expense of acquiring much necessary adaptive equipment for their children.
