Members of DAV Chapter 50 Chesterfield VA and Unit 50 attended the Memorial Day services at the Virginia War Memorial and at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds earlier today. The services were poignant and moving. It is an honor to be in the company of veterans and their families paying homage to those who died to protect our freedom.

We had a successful blood drive with American Red Cross, DAV Chapter 50 Chesterfield VA and supporters from our throughout Chesterfield County! DAV Auxiliary Department of Virginia Senior Vice Commander Jennifer Chester also made an appearance!

We are proud to partner with our local businesses while supporting our Veterans!

This morning, DAV Chapter 50 Chesterfield VA continued their incredible New Year’s Day tradition — delivering 150 meals to veterans at the VA hospital. 🇺🇸

King’s Korner simply cooked and packaged the meals — they are the ones who put in the work. Their volunteers show up, drive, deliver, and make sure every veteran is seen and honored today. Their hearts for service inspire us every single year.

We’re grateful to play a small part in supporting these heroes, and even more grateful for the veterans who sacrificed so much.

Happy New Year, and thank you to our veterans — today and every day.
