💐✨ Today, we celebrate the mothers, grandmothers, tias, madrinas, and mother figures who continue to shape our community with love, strength, and care.

Thank you for the sacrifices you make, the traditions you keep alive, and the way you hold our familia extendida together. ❤️🇵🇷

We also hold space today for those missing their mothers, longing to become mothers, grieving a child, or navigating this day with mixed emotions. You are seen, valued, and part of this community too.

La Sociedad Puertorriqueña de St. Louis lleva más de 20 años aquí. Décadas de eventos, de becas, de cultura, de comunidad. Años y años de personas como Alexa dando su tiempo, su energía, y su corazón — sin cobrar un solo peso.

Somos una organización de voluntarios. No hay salarios. No hay oficinas. Solo gente boricua que cree en lo que hacemos y que trabaja pa' que nuestra cultura siga viva aquí en St. Louis.

Pero para que los eventos pasen... necesitamos recursos. El block party, las becas, los programas — nada de eso ocurre sin su apoyo.
