Our Chesterfield club was very well represented today at the IN North Optimist conference today in Monticello.

We went home with the following winners:
Ligon Smith - 3rd place Oratorical
Kaatje Heck - 2nd place Oratorical
Cortney Arteritano - 3rd place Essay

Congratulations to the winners of the Region 3 Optimist oratorical contest hosted by the Chesterfield Optimist Club.
The top two winners will be competing on Saturday, May 2, at the District level.

You do not need to leave a book - however, books are welcome. Just take what you will read. 📖

Our Oratorical contest winners are in a Speech & Debate tournament Feb 19-21 in New Castle, IN.

The tournament is still needing volunteer judges. No experience is necessary. Donate 2-3 hours of your time (or more, if able).
