🚨Hard Truth Alert 🚨
Absolutely heartbreaking. Two lives gone just like that, and now those kids are left to carry something no child should ever have to deal with.
That’s the part that hits the hardest. Their world is changed forever. Keep them in your prayers,they’re the real victims in all of this.
Now here’s the part people don’t want to talk about… the irony. Fairfax supported red flag laws, laws that are supposed to stop situations exactly like this. In fact, he casted his tie-breaking vote to pass it.. And yet this still happened. (I fought against red flags)
That’s not me being political, that’s just reality. It shows real quick that you can’t legislate away what’s going on inside someone’s mind.
I’ve said it before and I’ll stand on it, mental health is the real issue we keep ignoring. You can throw laws at a problem all day long, but if you’re not addressing the person behind it, nothing changes.
This isn’t about left or right. It’s about facing the truth, even when it’s uncomfortable. And right now, the truth is, we’re missing the bigger problem.
Mental illness, not the tool that was utilized to carry out this tragic event.
