While we are all dealing with health concerns, confinement, social distancing and stock anxiety, we wish you all to STAY HEALTHY, above all. Listen to the Doctors, nurses, and Health providers and agencies. Do NOT believe everything you read in a social media post. There is a lot of just plain bad information being tossed around. Trust the health experts:

Wash your hands—often.
Keep your hands away from your face (especially eyes, nose and mouth).
Avoid crowds—now defined as gatherings of 10 or more.
Nobody is invincible.
Everyone is vulnerable—just some more than others.
And, do not touch your stocks or bands.
This is NOT Armageddon.
We will get through this.

Our 2019 fraud of the year award goes to DAWN BENNETT, former host of the radio show “Financial Myth Busting”, owner of Bennett Financial Services and an internet clothing business, who, for the next 20 years, has a forwarding address at the Chesapeake Detention Facility in Maryland. Five years in the making, she was found guilty in July, 2019 of defrauding 46 investors out of $20 Million by means of things like securities fraud, wire fraud, conspiracy, bank fraud and making false financial statements. There's more coming on this...Stay tuned. In case you missed our post on SEM, An ad just came across my fb for a company that is looking for investors. They supposedly made $195MM, but now need $2MM. They apparently invest in underperforming loans--a high, high risk strategy. Pleasw be wary, folks. FB ads like this are strictly hype. No facts, just a bunch of sales pitch. If somebody wants your money DO NOT even think of it unless they explain exactly what they do, what they buy, the risks, who's doing the picking. If you get someone who wants your money and does nothing but pitch with no substance, you may as well just buy lottery tickets. You have about the same chance. You can always ask me to check it out. It's one of the ways our charity helps people.
Remember: Transparency, Full disclosure, Facts, Knowing what you're getting, What do they need the money for, Confidence in the person investing...and more. Stay Tuned. Caveat Emptor!
