Julianne Rosela Foundation The Julianne Rosela Foundation honors a life of love by turning loss into purpose. Please mark your calendars. Thank you all for your constant love and support.

We support those facing sudden tragedy and provide scholarships to graduating seniors—keeping her light alive through compassion, community, and giving back. 🩷 During the summer of 2015, we suddenly lost our baby, Julianne Addison Rosela at age 7. The outpouring of love and support from the Kent Island community was and is the most inspirational testament to the quality of and the everlasting meaning of her life. The 7th Annual Julianne Rosela Memorial Golf Tournament will be held at Queenstown Harbor Golf Course on May 12, 2023. We will be updating this page soon with more details including cost. This is a "giving back" event with all proceeds going back to the Queen Anne’s County community in Julianne's name.

Our Fall 2026 meeting is just around the corner! Don't know who to nominate? Consider Julianne Rosela Foundation, To provide emergency support for families in crisis, and to provide scholarships to graduating seniors at KI High School and QAC High School OR Tides of Grace Inc. , a local 501(c)(3) collects and offers gently used items to local residents in need, striving to build an inclusive and welcoming community centered on kindness, compassion, support OR the U.S Colored Troops Memorial Fund, the memorial will serve to acknowledge and educate the public about the pivotal role of the USCT in winning the Civil War.

It’s hard to believe we’re already heading into our 11th Annual Julianne Rosela Memorial Golf Tournament!

What started as a way to honor our pink princess has grown into something our family could have never imagined.

Because of the people, like you, who continue to show up year after year, Julianne’s name has helped families through some of their hardest days, supported local students through scholarships, and continues to give us the opportunity to make a difference in our community.

And we’re nowhere near done. 💗

On May 7, 2027, we’re coming back together at Queenstown Harbor for another day of golf, pink tutus, a little chaos, remembering Julianne, and doing a whole lot of good in her name.

For now, save the date. We have plenty more coming. 💕

Community is bigger than any one foundation. 💗

Friday, we traded our usual JRF golf outing for a day on the course supporting The Jacob Sloan Foundation. Then we traded the golf clubs for fishing rods and hit the water for the Not My Child Lil Amps Bent Rod Fishing Tournament. ⛳️🎣

Because supporting our community doesn’t stop when our own events are over.

The Julianne Rosela Foundation was built from an incredible amount of love for one little pink princess, and over the years, that love has given us the opportunity to pour some of it back into the community that has poured so much into us.

We will always be proud of the work we do through JRF. But we’re just as proud to stand beside other foundations, families, organizations, and causes doing good.

Show up for people. Support their missions. Celebrate their wins. Give when you can. Volunteer when you can. And never underestimate what can happen when a community chooses to take care of its own.

That’s what community is all about. 💗

💜Community Spotlight💜

Not My Child was founded in memory of Anthony Reno Jr. and is dedicated to supporting individuals in recovery, their loved ones and families, employers, and the community through education, hope, and meaningful resources.

Through Project Restart, they help individuals in recovery pursue education, career training, and meaningful employment. Choose Hope offers free support groups and workshops for loved ones and families navigating the challenges of substance use, recovery, and loss. Partners in the Workplace provides free workshops for employers, equipping them with practical tools to create recovery-supportive workplaces.

The photos shared highlight both the heart of the organization and its impact today: one of Anthony Reno Jr., whose legacy continues to inspire the mission, and another featuring participants from Not My Child’s most recent Certified Peer Recovery Specialist training cohort. These future peer specialists are using their lived experience to help others find hope and recovery.

The 4th Annual Lil’ Amp’s Bent Rods Fishing Tournament will be held on September 12 and is one of their two signature fundraising events. The tournament brings the community together to celebrate Anthony’s legacy while raising critical funds to support and expand Not My Child’s programs throughout the Mid-Shore.

Today we celebrate what would’ve been Julianne’s 19th birthday. 💗

Grief has a way of making days like today feel both beautiful and incredibly unfair. The years keep passing, the birthdays keep coming, and we’re left wondering who she would be today.

But if there’s one thing Julianne taught us, it’s that there is always room for a little more joy. So today, celebrate our girl with us. Get the extra sprinkles on your ice cream. Eat your strawberry sprinkled donut. Wear something pink. Be kind to someone you don’t know. Laugh a little louder. Love a little harder.

Add a little extra sweetness to the world today, just like Julianne always did. 💕✨

Happy 19th Birthday, Julianne. We love you endlessly.
