In the first 17 days of September, approximately 7 suspected overdoses were reported in Chester County.

So far in 2026, our community has experienced 68 suspected overdoses, including 5 suspected fatal overdoses.

Knowing how to recognize and respond to an overdose matters. Someone experiencing an opioid overdose may not wake up, may have slow or no breathing, pinpoint pupils, gurgling or choking sounds, or blue or gray lips, skin, or fingernails.

If you suspect an overdose:
📞 Call 911
💜 Give Narcan if available
🫁 Support breathing
🤝 Stay with the person until help arrives

Don't wait until an emergency to wish you had Narcan.
