Another 250 celebration that we are part of.

Announcing Clinton's Celebration of the USA 250th! 📜✨ Mark your calendars for August 8, 2026, because Clinton’s Celebration of America is taking over the town from morning until late night.
Whether you want to try your hand at traditional candle dipping, catch a marching fife corps, meet Benjamin Franklin, or sit back with some live jazz, we have something for everyone.
Here is your ultimate cheat sheet for the day:
☀️ MORNING: History & Heritage
9:00 AM – First Church Summer Fair opens (all activities run until 6 PM!) 🎪
9:00 AM – Handcrafts, historical activities, and a reading of the Declaration of Independence at Stanton House
11:00 AM – Activities continue across all town venues
🥪 AFTERNOON: Music & Picnics
12:00 PM – Picnic lunch on the Stanton House lawn 🧺
12:00 PM – 250 celebratory music with a fife corps marching down the sidewalk! 🥁
3:00 PM – Live music on the First Church fair stage
🌆 EVENING: Street Fest & Live Tunes 🍹
4:00 PM – Post Office Square closes to traffic for immersive vignettes & musical performances 🎭
4:00 PM – Live Outdoor Jazz on the Cafe Nola/Henry on Main lawn 🎷
4:00 PM – Meet Benjamin Franklin! 🦅

Attention Chester Fife & Drum Corps Alumni. We will be participating in the Chester, CT 250 Event Town Wide Picnic. The event will be held on June 28, from 1pm until 5pm, at the Chester Fair Grounds.
We will be playing for about 30 minutes at the start of the picnic. If you are a CFDC alumni and are interested in joining us, and haven’t done so yet, please RSVP with a t-shirt size! We look forward to hearing from you.
