Monday, May 25th is Memorial Day. 🇺🇸 Please join the Chester Lions Club for their annual Memorial Day Service at the flag pole in the center of town. (Junction of route 102/121) 9AM. Immediately after join the American Legion for their Mug & Muffin and fellowship. 🇺🇸

The Chester Lions Club held their annual Senior Banquet on Saturday May 2nd. 97 meals were served along with Man & Woman of the Year awards. Presented to Lion Leslie Packard and Lion Don Krumholz. Music was provided by Phil and Susan Cassista.
We were honored to have Chester’s eldest resident and holder of the Boston Post Cane, Millie Bennett, as an attendee.

The Chester Lions Club Annual Senior Banquet is this coming Saturday May 2nd. --5PM at the MPR-- 84 Chester Street

A free turkey dinner with all the fixings, Entertainment and 2026 Man and Woman of the Year awards. Door prize and raffles too.

The Chester Lions Club celebrated District 44H DG Marie Valliere’s visit with a catered dinner and a Yankee Swap. Also present was CST Jerry Vaccaro & his wife, Lion Marilyn. DG Marie presented President Annemarie Murray with a 15 year Chevron and Lion John Murray with a 30 year Chevron.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first Tree of Light lighting — whether you attended in person, honored a loved one, sponsored a light, or cheered us on from home, you helped make our town glow. ✨
From the honoree table and sponsor display, to the hot cocoa bar and treats shared among friends, and the beautifully lit trees by Christmas Decor — it was truly a celebration of community spirit.
The trees will shine every night from dusk to midnight through the end of January.

Honoree names are displayed around the tree and on our website and will continue to be updated as donations are still being accepted, so be sure to donate or sponsor today!
