Welcome to Lionheart Counseling.

I’m Rachel M. Leonard, MA, LPCC—a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and ordained minister. I work with adults who are capable, caring, and accustomed to carrying a great deal—often while quietly navigating chronic stress, trauma, hidden ADHD, or longstanding relationship patterns that quietly shape life on the inside.

My approach is warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, attachment-focused, and neurodiversity-affirming. Together, we make sense of how your story, nervous system, relationships, faith, values, and strengths belong together.

The goal is not to erase the qualities that helped you survive. It is to help you carry your strengths with greater freedom, build healthier relationships, and live more wholeheartedly.

Dom and Mandy have been together for 13 years and struggled horribly with addictions they just couldn’t seem to overcome. Rehab after rehab and it just didn’t seem to ever change. They committed to come to the Freedom Home about 6 months ago and graduate this week! Today at chapel, Dom proposed to Mandy and we’re celebrating not just lives that have been transformed but the beginning of a beautiful Godly marriage!!
