Senior Companion Program of Chester County The Senior Companion Program consists of volunteers ages 55+ who want to make a difference in their community. This program is offered at no cost!

Senior Companions assist frail & homebound seniors with daily living activities, provide companionship, and offer respite to family caregivers. Volunteers receive a monthly stipend and mileage reimbursement for their time. Volunteers must undergo a physical examination and are screened through the National S*x Offender Registry, must submit to a SC Law Enforcement Division background check, and FB

I fingerprinting. Senior Companions have training every 2 months with classes ranging from food & nutrition, Alzheimer's patients, the early signs of dementia, fraud & scams affecting the elderly, and much more.
