Camp Hazen YMCA Camp Hazen YMCA is one of New England’s most remarkable summer camps and outdoor education centers.

We have been providing quality camping experiences for kids, families and school groups for more than 100 years. Camp Hazen is truly the place where kids can grow through the years. With Day Camp programs that begin in 1st grade, Overnight Programs that start in 3rd grade and a world-class leadership program for 11th & 12th graders, Hazen has a unique ability to become just like home for kids of all ages. Families feel great about choosing a camp for their child that will become theirs forever.

Yesterday, our leadership team kicked off training and preparation for the season ahead. A couple more days of planning remain before we welcome our summer staff for orientation and get ready for campers to arrive.

The Hazen staff attended the 2026 Camp Yankee helping train counselors from camps across the region in camper management, conflict resolution, restorative justice, and value-based programming. Along the way, we picked up new ideas and skills to bring back to our own staff orientation this summer. 🌲 🌞

🌳 Georgia returns for her 3rd summer as Juniper Village Director!

🌿 Roberts is back for his 4th summer as Spruce Village Director, while Julia returns for her 6th summer leading Oak Village!

🍃 Romi and Khy are stepping into Leadership in just their 2nd summers at camp as the Tamarack and Maple Village Directors! 🚀

⭐ Supporting all of our villages this summer are Lena, returning for her 4th summer, and Niyi, back for his 3rd summer as Village Support.

With a mix of returning experience and fresh leadership energy, this team is ready to help make Summer 2026 one to remember! ☀️ 🌲😎
