💚HELP US SAVE YODA💚

Alrighty everyone it has been a long day… my stomach is in complete knots but this boy is a fighter, the force is definitely with this one for sure. Like I wish I had his strength… the estimate we were given ranges from $6,332-$8,864 to save Yoda’s life. He has a very optimistic outcome and is stable for now in the oxygen chamber. We did get the good news that he was sedated and his chest tube was placed successfully on the left side of his body and they were able to drain another 25 ml of fluid from his chest cavity. He was started on a very intensive course of IV broad-spectrum antibiotics. I cannot stress enough the need to raise these funds, even raising the low end of this estimate would be monumental to help offset the cost. Some might think this is insane and if I had any doubt in my mind that he did not have a chance to live then we wouldn’t be doing this or putting him through it. Thank you to everyone who has stepped up so far you are seriously seriously loved and appreciated, I wish I could hug each of you right now. So far we have raised $1,377/$6,332 for his care. He will be staying at the hospital for the next 48-72 hours depending on how he responds to treatment. I wanted to thank VRC for always being understanding and knowing our financial limits when it comes to these cases, Yoda has a pretty cool Doctor who we like a lot. I NEED MY PEOPLE MORE THAN EVER RIGHT NOW and I need the power of prayer because I want to vomit. Like we cannot catch a freaking break ever ever ever, I am sick to my stomach… I am shaking… I am angry… why can’t people do the right freaking thing and just spay and neuter their pets!!!!!! I wouldn’t have to stress and worry about raising $6,000 to have this kitten admitted to VRC for a Pyopneumothorax. Like when is the break ever going to happen… when will the donations and funds ever be consistent. I am seriously starting to get so bitter yet trying to always see the bright side but it’s hard it’s really hard to do that right now. Long story short Yoda is going to VRC to have chest tubes in place… essentially he has an abscess in his chest cavity that needs to be drained. Our primary vet pulled about 28cc of bacteria filled puss off of his chest to give him some relief but he’s going to need tubes placed over the next 48-72 hours to continue draining the abscess along with intense IV antibiotic therapy to kill whatever is causing this. It was likely due to a puncture or old injury at some point that has manifested. This kitten has been through so much already and we have come so far to get him to this point, I will not let him be put down all because this is out of our price range. I am determined to raise the funds needed to get him the help he deserves because let’s be real he didn’t deserve to be brought into this world to be mistreated, starved and covered in fleas all thanks to one human who cannot fix his cats that he feeds. I am just absolutely raging and disgusted all at the same time. PLEASE DONATE FOR YODA PLEASEEEE! PRAYERS AND DONATIONS DESPERATELY NEEDED FOR YODA‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ This kitten has already been through so much after being neglected and absolutely covered with fleas from the Boyertown colony situation we have been assisting with. He came to us on deaths door a month ago, was doing fantastic and he woke up with acute respiratory distress. Momma Steph and I are extremely stressed out messes right now as a lot of time, love and care has been put into him. Initially we did not think he was going to make it based on how anemic he was but he pushed through. This poor little guy does not deserve this due to human ignorance and neglect. He is at our amazing rescue vet, Twin Valley Veterinary Hospital who was able to squeeze him in as a drop off this morning. Vets & techs do not get enough credit for the crap people put them through, they are overworked, expected to do just about everything, squeeze everything in last minute and are expected to keep their prices low… I’m talking private veterinary practices. The fact that they had a full schedule today and were willing to see him so urgently is something that needs to be recognized, I know all to well the feeling of being pulled in every direction to save animals. They were able to take a quick x-ray and put the ultrasound probe on his chest, he does indeed have fluid around his chest and of course my mind goes straight to FIP. We can deal with the FIP no problems at all but it’s the respiratory distress that is extremely unsettling as it can be touch and go. I’m waiting for another update soon, the plan will likely be to tap his chest to give him some relief. This is not ideal but what needs to be done so he can breathe and so we can figure out what kind of fluid is building up around his chest. PLEASE PLEASE DONATE, PLEASE PRAY, PLEASE SEND A THOUGHT… this cannot be his ending and we will make sure to do everything in our power for him!

Oye vey… shaking my head🤦🏼‍♀️ Long story short… kittens were kitten napped (no surprise there) and were brought into another vet hospital. A kind tech took them overnight but could not keep them. Sooooo now I have them… end of story😭😅 I just hope their mom will get fixed, kitten napping is just about the worst thing you can do. If anyone would like to donate please do… we are pretty much drowning right now in medical case after medical case. Thank you all who donated towards our wobbles in the previous post. We can also desperately use some more KMR, bottles, miracle ni***es, wipes… pretty much any neonate or weaning supply. Thank you all and please share, just $5 goes a long way.

Wobble babies wobble babies wobble babies wobble… late late last night I received these two very wobbly babies. It is looking like they have CH (cerebellar hypoplasia aka wobbly syndrome. They are eating and drinking well however we will see how their “wobbliness” develops as they grow. This was another special unexpected intake and expense, we seriously love to help the special cases but we need the funds to do so. If anyone can donate just $5 it would be greatly appreciated. These guys would have definitely fallen behind as their litter mates grew… they were also at risk of being hit on the road as they became more mobile. Our foster Laura has the other 3 in the litter and mom is being TNR’d.

Hey CCR Supporters! Today we made an exception to welcome Sweetheart into the rescue. We are helping our friends and rescue vet over at Twin Valley Veterinary Hospital. One of their amazing staff members found her lying in the middle of the road last night, just lounging about… unfortunately almost hitting her. Here to find out she has actually popped up on lost and found pages as a kitty showing up on back porches probably asking for help or to come inside. Well she definitely struck gold with her rescuer & finder because they knew exactly who to contact. She is of course emaciated at 5.6lbs, covered in lice and has a very concerning mammary tumor that needs to be addressed ASAP! She has an appointment scheduled for Wednesday to be seen by no other than Twin Valley to run some bloodwork and go from there. She can’t have any kind of surgery yet until she is healthier and puts on some weight. We seem to keep collecting medical cases even though our intake is temporarily closed. If you can, please support us as we help Sweetheart by making a donation. Just $5 can go a long way… we are already at a $1,000 bill for this month at our one rescue vet and we are only halfway through the month. Thank you all for the continued support! AHHHHH!!!!! I am so behind guys so so so behind and I’m hoping everyone can help! We have a few trunk or treat events in the next two weeks that we are attending. We could really use some help offsetting the cost of goodies for our supporters and their kiddos. We had an absolute blast last year at the BarkHop Studio & Ludwig's Corner Supply Co. Trunk or Treat. We sure hope this increase in adoptions continues because goodness, all of these kitties deserve the homes they’ve been waiting for. PLEASE PLEASE SHARE!!!! One of our adopted CCR kitties snuck out of her house. She was last seen near Feist Ave and Diamond Street in Pottstown. Her owners are extremely sad and worried, they just want to bring her home safely. I can only imagine what they are going through, I would be an absolute terrified mess. She is chipped… unfortunately she looks like many brown tabby kitties with green eyes and white mittens. She is very petite and friendly. Help bring Karen home and SHARE SHARE SHARE🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
