Great start to the 2025 season for our Kings. The boys went 4-1 on the weekend and won three big games today to win the Perfect Game SEC South Carolina - Summer Kick Off.

We had huge performances from a ton of our guys and all 17 players contributed in a big way this weekend.

Today the boys showed great competitive character and played the game with humility! They faced a ton of adversity on and off the field but they did not flinch!

Today is the day for the Raffle Drawing!

All tickets are collected and we will be drawing tonight. We will post the video on Facebook. The winners will be announced and will be contacted by Monday.

The first pull will have first choice, second pull second choice, and third pull will have third choice.

Tuesday the dealer will be in contact with the winners to set up a time to pick up their prize.

Congrats to both Chapman and Chesnee on their Region Championships! We are proud of all of the boys but especially proud of the Kings that make up both teams. They are all great players but we are most proud of their leadership on and off the field.

Keep leading with a servant’s heart and keep playing the game to the best of your God given abilities. Prayers for safety and success throughout the playoffs.

So proud of our boys today! After losing a heart breaker in game 1 on Friday night they went out and won two big games on Saturday to make it into the top 4 and onto Championship Sunday at App State.

Huge shout out to Reid Smith who threw a No Hitter in Game 1! Game two of the day was a back and forth, highly competitive game that came down to a big two out 2 RBI single by Carson Gossett and Kevin Grant slamming the door in the bottom of the 6 with 3 K’s.

So many boys played great today! Our humility and competitive character was on full display.

All of our boys played great this weekend going 3-1 against some great organizations in the 16U Tournament.

We played lots of great baseball & enjoyed the opportunity to play at 3 different colleges.

Great opening weekend for our Kings! Proud of these boys and their effort. The amount of growth in 5 practices and a few games has been amazing. Their humility, willingness to be coachable, and team first attitude were on full display this weekend. We started rough on Saturday but came back today and won 3 straight games eventually beating the #1 and #2 seeds from pool play.

The sky is the limit for these young men on the field and off. If opening weekend is any indication the Chesnee and Chapman baseball programs are in good hands as well as the Chesnee and Inman communities.

Also a huge shoutout to our coaches who gave up Memorial Day weekend to lead these boys. Coaches Chris Barnette, Tim Beach, Ricky Montalvo, and Scott Wease are great examples of servant leaders with a heart for making a difference in the lives of others.
