In conjunction with Connecticut Forest & Parks Association, CLT had a terrific Trails Day walk through the upland acreage of Ives Farm. Two thirds of the farm is hardwood forest.
Walking our well planned and marked trails walkers, young and not so young, took in the beautiful forested part of the property.

Connecticut Trails Day is Saturday June 6.
Stroll through woods at Ives Farm at 10 AM.
Join in with Land Trusters for an hour or so of ups and down hill walking thru the wooded hills of the Ives property.

Great news for Cheshire! The Norton Farm will not be developed into another housing project as everyone feared.
Inevitable development of all of Cheshire’s remaining open space is not inevitable after all.
