Riverbound Farm QVAS A chapter of the National Audubon Society, Riverbound Farm is 23.4 acres of diverse habitat, well-maintained trails, & a seasonal Nature Center.

The property was bequeathed by Esther Tappert Mortensen in 1989.

Join Craig Repasz, Director and Co-founder of Lights Out Connecticut, to learn methods that will help stop birds colliding with your windows.

The Riverbound Farm Museum/Nature Center is a demonstration house showing four different ways to help save birds. After a brief presentation, you will have an opportunity to see the different products as we tour the Museum /Nature Center inside and out.

This event is free and open to everyone. The Museum/Nature Center will be open from 11am to 4pm, so feel free to stop by before or after!

If you missed the October 4th Native Plant Sale at Riverbound---there's good news!

You can still scoop up bargains including Lobelia, Witch Hazel, Gray Dogwood, Blackhaw Viburnum, Hazelnut and more.

Free and Open to Everyone — Rain will NOT cancel!

Wear proper footwear for trails and protect yourself from mosquitoes and ticks.

The QVAS property, Riverbound Farm Sanctuary, is located at 1881 Cheshire Street, Cheshire. The Nature Center is open the 3rd Sunday of every month 11am - 4pm from April to November. The grounds are open daily, dawn until dusk. The program listed below will take place in the nature center or on the grounds. Hope to see you soon!
