We are having a great morning at ESPN for our CIAC/SOCT Unified Sports day with ESPN volunteers! Check out ESPN Sports Center at 2:00 pm today for an interview with Oxford HS Basketball player, Freddie Blum!!

Jumping for joy at Prospect Elementary's Special Olympics Young Athletes culminating event ! With 4th graders walking the athletes through the stations , and volunteers from E-Rate Online ( YA sponsor) and classmates and parents cheering them on , fun was had by all .

It was "Batter Up!" at Highland Elementary's
Unified Celebration . Over 900 fellow students cheered on the Unified Team as they headed for the baseball field to play ball to culminate a year of Unified Sports . Parents were bursting with pride as their children rounded the bases. A joyful and fun time for all participants and fans . Kudos to coaches Alison Ranciato and Stephanie Dichele.

Lots of energy and excitement at Benjamin Jepson Magnet School's Young Athlete event . Aided by a fabulous group of 8th grade volunteers the athletes hopped, biked , jumped , kicked and bounced their way through activity stations . Teamwork , making friends, and learning new skills while having a ton of fun !

What an amazing day at Hartford’s Breakthrough Magnet Elementary School! Connection, acceptance, and fun were on full display as students proudly showcased the skills they’ve built alongside their peers for parents and administrators.

An awesome morning at Watertown HS for a CIAC Unified Sports Flag Football tournament today! Beautiful weather, enthusiastic teams, and fierce competition made it a super day! Thanks to WHS choir for the national anthem and Watertown Unified for the pizza! A great way to end our United Sports season.
