There's been another discovery of the spiny water flea in New Hampshire, this time on Newfound Lake.
Unfortunately, once this aquatic invasive species is established, there are no treatments available to control it. That's why it's more important than ever to clean, drain, and dry your boats, trailers, and especially your fishing gear.
The spiny water flea can cause serious harm to our lakes in the following ways:
🎣Destruction of Property
🐟Hurting the Fish Population
🦠Increased Susceptibility to Cyanobacteria and Algae Blooms
💵Economic Losses
