Effective June 17, 2026, genset chassis will be relocated from the Portsmouth Annex to the Re**er Service Area (RSA).

Drivers entering or exiting with a genset chassis must proceed through the Portsmouth Chassis Yard (PCY) canopy for inspection.

On June 12 at around 1:01 p.m., Suffolk Fire and Suffolk Police handled a fire involving a tractor-trailer hauling solar panels in the intersection. Crews quickly extinguished the fire, which didn’t spread into the trailer. The fire was under control by 1:18 p.m.There were no injuries, and traffic wasn’t interrupted.
