Specializing in teens and adults with autism, developmental delays, learning disorders, deaf and hard of hearing. After 26 years of teaching, I made one of the toughest decisions and decided to resign. Actually, I love working with all kids. Through my experiences, I have learned so much and I am thankful for each experience, even those that were frustrating. It's through those frustrations that l

ed me to venture out and create a company to fill some of the needs that I saw. I launched The Hitching Post Limited (copper jewelry and home decor) with the purpose of one day providing job coaching and supported employment to those with special needs. I am excited to launch the next phase of our journey: The Hitching Post Educational Service Center. We provide tutoring, special education advocacy, IEP reviews, in-home support if needed, social skill outings and once we find our building... job coaching. Until we find our building, we will offer tutoring in the Tree House on a limited basis. Our Tree House is both heated for winter and has AC in the summer! (Thanks to my amazing husband who is not only supportive in words but in action)
