These are our South Carolina December Angelversaries. We remember their ultimate sacrifice today and always. Their names will live on in our hearts and on our lips, as we continue to shout out their names, for all to hear. We pray for those of you whose loved ones are honored….we know this month will be unbearable, take comfort in the fact that they watch over us from above and are at peace.

Hello families, volunteers and runners! We wanted to share some important last-minute information concerning our 2025 SC Run for the Fallen. Most of you have been receiving email updates, but please reach out if you need more information or have any questions. We understand the Event Invite hasn't been working and that has been reported. The website is currently down and that has also been reported.
Our run will be this Saturday 18 October 7:00 am-5:00 pm. Here is some information to make everything easier.
-First, have your GPS navigate to "Marrington Plantation Trailhead" in Goose Creek and it will take you directly to our location. Step by step directions are below also. The entrance will be marked with an American flag and "SC Run for the Fallen" sign.
-We had to change closing from 6:00 pm to 5:00 pm due to the location and the potential for it getting dark earlier.
-You can arrive anytime between 6:30 am to 5:00 pm and your Hero's name will be called. We will wait for you, if you have already told us that you will be there. We understand things come up so please don't worry....if you haven't arrived by 5 we will still call your loved one's name.
-How this will work: runners and family members that want to run/walk will start at 7:15 am. Each group will walk or run a 1/4, 1/2, or mile carrying one of the lists with the Hero's names. When they arrive back at the tribute area we will call the names and the next group will depart. Family members can carry the list with their Hero's name. You can arrive at anytime before 5:00 pm and still walk/run. Remember to check in at the family or runner station to receive your shirt and family bag (courtesy of Walmart)
-Please feel free to bring chairs, folding tables, sunshades, your flag, coolers, and any pictures or posters you would like to share. We will have extra flags and flagpoles (courtesy of Allegiance Flag) that were donated for the families.
-We will be recording the tributes and events instead of live
streaming so that you can view the recordings whenever you like and can share them. They will be posted on this page, our South Carolina Run for the Fallen page, throughout the day. You will be given an opportunity to share any stories that you feel comfortable sharing about your loved one.
-Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions. Also, please remember no pets and no alcohol.

Directions...please use GPS to "Marrington Plantation Trailhead in Goose Creek" but these are provided if needed.
There is only one entrance onto the Naval Weapons Station and that is through Goose Creek. Your GPS will guide you correctly to the Naval Weapons Station. Once you pass Walmart/McDonalds on your left please use these directions:
-You will pass Walmart/McDonalds on your left as you enter the base (no gate guard/ID needed).
-You will continue to drive 2.7 miles and go through 3 traffic lights. -Do not turn at any of the Menriv Park signs until you get to the one that is on Marrington Ave Your GPS will continue to yell at you, if you have not entered "Marrington Plantation Trailhead", but keep driving.
-We will have a 2025 SC Run for the Fallen sign up and an American flag at the entrance on the left.
-You will not be able to miss us as the sign is next to the road.
-Turn left into the park area and you will follow the road about 1
mile. You will come to a clearing with a huge field on the left and a
playground on the right.
-We will have signs up for parking.
