Good evening WBP families!

Tonight, we held the last PTA meeting of the 2025-2026 school year! We celebrated accomplishments and voted for next year's slate of officers to lead the organization.

This school year, your PTA raised and transparently spent over $40,000.00 (yes, forty thousand dollars!). This includes large capital improvement projects, community events, hospitality, Teacher/Staff appreciation gifts and acknowledgments, current student field trip scholarships, previous student college scholarships, book fair vending machine, direct classroom and library gifts, Field Day fun, and so much more!

None of this would be possible without our amazing members! We have the best family members, community partners, parents, teachers, administration, and staff! All of these stakeholders work closely together for one goal: We exist for our students.

As your new board begins their service on 7/1/2026, we know all of our members will welcome them and support their exciting initiatives. Be on the lookout to renew your membership for next year soon!

Good evening WBP Families:

Heads up! We have heard from several members who want to be present at the meeting Tuesday but cannot make it in-person. The board voted to make this meeting a hybrid meeting, so feel free to show up in person at 6pm Tuesday at the Primary School or attend virtually. The link will be shared tomorrow on this page.

All members in good standing will be able to vote for the 2026-2027 PTA officers.

We hope everyone had an amazing time tonight at the Glow Party!

Huge thank you to our volunteers, teachers, staff, and parents for helping to make the event a success!

Events for over 550 people do not just happen on their own without amazing effort from everyone, so thank you and we hope you had a great time!

***UPDATE: Check your email for parking and guidance for downloading your ticket for the event!***

Glow Party tickets have officially sold out. We have hit the capacity limit for the space and cannot make exceptions. We have received several emails requesting exceptions and unfortunately we are not able to accommodate any requests for additional tickets.

Shortly, a separate post will be made with instructions for parking and loading your tickets to your phone. Tickets will be scanned at the door and only ticketed adults and ticketed WBP students will be permitted to enter the event space. After entering the space all attendees will receive a glow bracelet and a punch card for pizza and drink. We will also have chips, pretzels and other snacks.

We are looking forward to an awesome time! As a board, we have strived to make this event accessible to as many WBP students as possible. By holding it at the high school, limiting admission to one adult participant per WBP student, and limiting children at the event to only WBP students, we have maximized the number of WBP students who can participate.

With the increased number of students comes an increased dependence on our 4th rule. Adults accompanying students are expected to actively engage with their student for the entire event. We must stop our own children from participating in dangerous behavior, such as sprinting through the space. As the event is 90 minutes in duration, there should be no need for adults to leave their children unattended at the event space for any reason. As a reminder, the event is on school property so smoking or va**ng is strictly prohibited.

Good evening WBP families:

Glow Party tickets will sell out tonight. Do not wait any longer to purchase your tickets! Once tickets have sold out, we will not have any way to add more, as we will have maxed out the capacity limit for the space.

Please be advised that we have doubled the capacity limit from last year due to moving the event from WBP to WBHS. Had we kept the event at WBP, the capacity limit would have been hit over two weeks ago. Be on the lookout this week for parking instructions and arrival instructions. Tickets will be scanned at the door and only ticketed guests will be permitted to enter the event.

For those who are/were unable to secure a ticket to the event, we hope that you understand the PTA and its officers are not able to add any additional tickets once they sell out. Unfortunately, we must abide by the capacity limit for the space, or else risk having the event shut down. While the PTA and its board will feel sorry for anyone not able to attend, we cannot make exceptions and will respond to any requests with a copy/paste of this statement.
