A Message from our Founder:

This. This is what the goal is. Engage, stop viewing us so different from your own humanity.
I’ve intervened countless times with parents when they tell their kids that in my presence. Hearing them shhh kids as they yell MOM LOOK AT HER ARM! WHAT HAPPENED TO HER ARM?! Or Any variation there of.
I approach, engage the child, and also the parents, to encourage them to not instill fear or not to engage by not staring (as a point of politeness), hushing and disregarding their questions. They are curious because they haven’t been exposed to differences. They are seeking understanding. So teach them, and yourselves to widen your understanding of differences and disabilities.
It is my hope with Warriors of Wonder to facilitate educating the general population in hopes that seeing differences regularly will decrease the amount of unfavorable interactions there are for the child and adults with disabilities that may not be comfortable with sharing, being the educator and just wanting to exist peacefully as their peers.

Warriors of Wonder is a (pending) 501c3 Non profit.

We are live with our donation page! Please like, share and if you choose to donate it is much appreciated! 🙏 The kits will begin assembly in the next week and throughout October! Our goal is to fund and send out 10 kits!
Please share with your teacher friends as we will be looking for teachers to gift these too for their classrooms!

Welcome warriors! We are thrilled you are here!
We are excited to share WOW gear with you!
When you purchase anything you are supporting the efforts set forth through Warriors of Wonder. Our 1st initiative is getting out warrior kits to schools, which will include books (specific books chosen to represent a variety of disabilities, educational and friendly for our youth to read), information and key points to support teachers in discussing and educating their classrooms on disabilities, inclusion and facilitating a welcoming environment for all. More details on the kits will be posted soon!
October is Disability awareness month and Warriors of Wonder has a goal of getting at least 10 kits into teachers hands and classrooms across the US.
