I was watching one of those viral video shows the other night. A guy was on the roof of a house in a Rubbermaid container. He was going to slide down the pitch of the roof and then...
Well, we all know what was going to happen, he was going to slide down, flip forward (physics...Google it) and land on his face. That's exactly what he did. It was logical. Predictable. Maybe in his mind he thought he could fly. Maybe he thought concrete is a lot more forgiving than it actually is. But those of us watching knew what would happen. He would bust his face open. Predictable.
Life is like a viral video. It may be exciting to approach it with a "let's see what happens" attitude, but in the end, if you don't apply logic, if you don't weigh in with obvious consequences, we all know what will happen. Predict the consequences of your actions. You will avoid landing on your face.
