HRMB is finishing up it's latest fundraising campaign now. Our income comes from 1. Band Dues, 2. Concert Fees from the locations and sponsors we have, and 3. Our Ad/Contribution Campaigns that we have twice a year. We are now on the home stretch of our current one and we will be done by Monday, May 11th at 7pm.

There's still time for you to buy an ad or make a tax deductible contribution for our Spring/Summer Concert Season. Please see any band member or go to our website at hrmetroband.org and you can do this online through either PayPal or Stripe or fill out the PDF form and submit to us by email or give to any band member. Ads and contributions will be listed and published in all of our programs for this concert series.

We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization as defined in the IRS Code.

Providing all Hampton Roads with enjoyable performances and rehearsals of concert band literature, and sharing a varied musical repertoire with the public at large.

Hello Metro Band supporters ...

Please pass the word that we are now in the process of recruiting new musicians to join us for our upcoming 96th Spring/Summer Season.

We welcome all band instruments and instrumentalists into the band, but we do have a particular need for the following instruments...

Baritone Saxophone
French Horn
Euphonium
Tuba
Percussion

Sorry folks... Once again this week, our regular rehearsal has been canceled due to the extreme cold temperatures and road situation in relation to our snow and ice storm from this past weekend.

We are looking forward to temperatures that are a bit warmer for next Monday's scheduled rehearsal. Thank you for your continued support. 👍

With our final concert of 2025 completed, we are now enjoying the holiday break. We shall return to rehearsals beginning on January 5th, 2026 7pm at Oaklette UMC in Chesapeake.

Thank you for a wonderful 95th year celebration and look forward to celebrating our 96th year and America's 250th Year!
