October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This is a time to honor survivors, support those facing breast cancer, and remember the precious lives we’ve lost.

To every woman walking this journey: you are seen, you are loved, and you deserve support every step of the way. We are praying for your strength, comfort, healing, and hope.

Let this pink ribbon be a reminder to make your health a priority. Schedule your mammogram when it’s due, and encourage someone you love to do the same. Early detection saves lives.

Together in hope. Together in strength. Together in love.

I pray you accept the challenge and follow through so that you can continue to stand and be what God has called you to be.  I know that I am planning to see that God has given me in good soil. Now I’m eager to see what these plants will grow to be.

Check your soil so that what you plant can get the proper nourishments.

💜🕯️ Tonight the Kings Esther International Graduate Chapter of Theta Phi sigma Christian sorority Incorporated in solidarity with my sisters of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc., in collaboration with V Phi V, as we light up the night purple in honor of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Did you know? Domestic violence can include emotional abuse, threats, sexual abuse, and financial control, even when there are no visible injuries. Recognizing these forms of abuse is an important part of raising awareness.

We honor women and men affected by domestic violence, stand with survivors, and remember the precious lives we have lost. Behind every story is a person worthy of safety, dignity, and love.

May your lights represent hope, our voices bring awareness, and our unity remind those suffering that they are not alone. 💜

Father, we come before You this morning simply saying THANK YOU.

Thank You for life. Thank You for grace. Thank You for keeping us through things we talked about and things we never told anybody.

This morning, we’re standing on Jeremiah 17:14: Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed.

God, we lift up every sister who needs a healing touch today. Those dealing with sickness, pain, upcoming procedures, recovery, or health concerns they haven’t shared with anyone—meet them right where they are.

Strengthen bodies. Calm anxious hearts. Give wisdom concerning treatment and next steps. And while we’re praying for physical healing, touch the places that can’t be seen too.

Heal hearts.
Restore joy.
Renew strength.
Give peace to overwhelmed minds.
And breathe fresh hope into the sister who is simply TIRED.

Cover our families and loved ones who are sick as well. Give caregivers strength and surround every family with the support they need.

Lord, go before us this week and handle what we can’t. Give us wisdom for every decision and grace for every assignment.

We trust You with ALL of it.

Today, September 23, 2026, we proudly celebrate 17 YEARS of Theta Phi Sigma Christian Sorority, Inc.; 17 years of faith, sisterhood, purpose, leadership, ministry, service, impact, and legacy!

On September 23, 2009, God entrusted our Founder & Visionary, Dr. Jessica Wilson-Dorsey, with a vision that would become a sisterhood. What began as an assignment has grown into a legacy that continues to touch lives, build women, serve communities, and make room for women to boldly walk in both faith and purpose in Montgomery, Al TPS: Genesis Nu Chapter Montgomery, Al. Through every season, every transition, every triumph, and every test, one truth remains:

WE ARE STILL STANDING.

Seventeen years later, we honor the women who helped lay the foundation, celebrate the sisters carrying the vision today, and make room for the generations who will carry it farther than we ever imagined.

BOLD.
FAITHFUL.
PURPOSED.
UNSTOPPABLE.
STILL STANDING.

To every Soror who has worn our letters, served under our banner, prayed for this organization, represented Theta with excellence, or helped build this legacy. Happy S23! Today belongs to ALL of us.

May the next chapter be greater than anything we have seen before. We aren’t simply celebrating how long we’ve been here; we’re celebrating the fact that God is not finished with us yet.
