A special thank you to Twinkling Stars Child Development Center for donating backpacks and school supplies. Your generosity helped us reach even more children as they prepare for a successful school year.

To our incredible volunteers and Board of Directors, thank you for showing up month after month with servant hearts. Your dedication makes everything we do possible.

Every meal, every backpack, and every act of kindness brings hope to a family in our community. Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and helps us continue fighting food insecurity.

June Highlights at Candy Cares, Inc. 💚

Distributed 4,866 pounds of food to 356 individuals.

Shared essential items and clothing, including Bath & Body Works products, Ross clothing, Nike shoes, Janie and Jack children's shoes, Bombas socks and underwear, SKIMS bras, and Lume Whole Body Deodorant.

Thank you to the amazing volunteers from Volunteer Hampton Roads, who spent Saturday, June 27, sorting and packing groceries in preparation for our largest distribution.

Thank you to our dedicated in-house volunteers and Board of Directors, whose hard work and commitment ensured everything ran smoothly during our Sunday, June 28, distribution.

We also received a grant from The Blocker Foundation that will help us continue providing food and essential resources to families throughout our community.

Together, we are making a difference, one family at a time. 💚
