Behind the scenes of King David’s Costume Drive! 🎃

Our volunteers came together to help us prepare costumes for some very special superheroes fighting cancer.

Every costume represents a smile, a moment of joy, and a reminder that these children are not forgotten.

This is what community looks like. This is what love in action looks like.

Today marks Day 30 of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 🎗️

For MomAdvocate Foundation, this month is deeply personal. We understand that a childhood cancer diagnosis affects the entire family, and no family should have to walk that journey alone.

Throughout September, we will shared
more about who we are, what we do, and how your support helps us show up for families when they need it most.

HELP US BRING SMILES, ONE COSTUME AT A TIME! #
King David’s Costume Drive is back, and we need our community to help us make this year special for children impacted by pediatric cancer!

We’re collecting NEW, packaged costumes in ALL sizes, from toddlers through teens. Superheroes, princesses, favorite characters and more, every costume helps give a child a chance to have fun, dress up, and simply enjoy being a kid.

📅 Donation Deadline: October 5, 2026

You can donate a costume or make a monetary donation to help us purchase the sizes and styles we still need.

Our goal is simple: bring as many smiles as we can, one costume at a time. 🦸🏽‍♀️🦸🏽‍♂️

Our King David’s Costume Drive has officially launched, and we need your help!

Our goal is to collect 150 brand-new costumes for children fighting cancer. Every costume donated helps bring a little joy, excitement, and normalcy to a child during a difficult time.

You can support the drive by donating a new costume, making a monetary donation, or sharing this post to help us spread the word.

Cancer treatment does not always happen close to home. For many families, getting their child to appointments means extra expenses for gas, food, and travel.

Through our Fuel for the Journey program, MomAdvocate Foundation provides gas and meal cards to help ease those burdens so families can focus on what matters most, their child.

This program supports Virginia residents and families whose child is receiving cancer treatment in Virginia.
