An amazing evening of community and service at Monday night’s Virginia Beach Princess Anne Oceanside Lions Club Monthly Meeting and Dinner. Lions gathered at the local Outback Steakhouse to support an Eagle Scout Project proposed for Hampton Roads AREC and a plant bag project for 5th graders at a local elementary school; in addition to working on the Summer Community Yard Sale and the upcoming Charter Night in August. Past District Governor Donnie Johnson joined us as Elvis Viva Las Vegas Style to install our newest members, Dale and Deb Wonch, with Vice President Helen Pryor serving as his Priscilla Presley. Lions look forward taking part in Lions Environmental Week of Service and the Diabetes Camp at Triple R Ranch in April… then off to our State Convention in May!

Chesterfield Elementary Academy was thrilled and honored by a visit from the Virginia Beach Princess Anne Oceanside Lions Club last week. The Lions Club made a generous donation to the Chesterfield Academy Sports Teams in order to help them create a positive and enriching sports experience for all their students. This donation will be assisting with ongoing team expenses such as uniforms, snacks and refreshments, referee fees and end-of-season celebrations. Best of luck to Chesterfield Academy and we wish you the best possible life experiences both on and off the field!

Thank you to all that joined us last Monday for our Monthly Meeting and Dinner, this time at the home of Mark and Helen Pryor. We were treated to appetizers, salad, stuffed shells and garlic bread; followed with blueberry pie and cheesecake. We spend the evening planning our activities for 2026 and as always, our goal is SERVICE!
