🎉The printers are warmed up and ready to start again!🎉

🚌📚✏️🎓 School is just around the corner and with current mask requirements, I’m ramping up to meet our local school systems’ needs. If you or your student has to wear a mask during in-person schooling, some added comfort can help you get through the day. I am working on improving the design of my ear guards/tension relievers and am taking some extra time to make a smaller version for children in elementary school. My vision is to make donated deliveries to local school districts, but I am also eager to help anyone who reaches out and has a need.

Your support is always appreciated! One big new step is that I set up my own 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and named it ⭐️Printing to Make a Difference.⭐️ The specific purpose of the corporation is to use 3D printing technology to impact the health and wellbeing of our community.

If you able and inspired to donate, please follow the link at the top of this page! *Bonus* Now that I have an IRS certified 501(c)(3), all donations are tax deductible!

Thank you everyone. I am excited to get back to work helping anyone I can!

Continued thanks to all those that have helped keep Nathan fully stocked with supplies! He donated 500 Ear Guards to the Virginia Beach Sheriff's office earlier this week with a series of additional donation planned soon! Awesome job!

THANK YOU to Nathan Babcock for donating 500 mask extenders (a.k.a. ear guards or tension relievers) to us this week! Nathan, who is 16, has been hard at work making these on his 3D printer to help frontline workers throughout the region. He’s donated thousands to local medical facilities and hundreds more to law enforcement. Our deputies (and their ears) thank you, Nathan! 😷🙏💙

A donation on 6/23 to Health Care workers at EDMARK in Portsmouth, a Children’s Hospice Home, a place that helps and cares for children with life threatening illnesses (https://edmarc.org). Lots of masks and ears that need help there!

We understand the overwhelming challenges that families face when a child is sick. We offer you comfort, strength and support so that you are able to do the same for your child.

So proud! ❤️And a huge thank you to all those that donated that made this and so many future donations possible!

Meet Nathan Babcock. Nathan is a 16-year-old Hickory High School student who is making a BIG difference in our community using small spools of plastic. Today, Nathan donated 500 mask tension relievers to the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office. The tension reliever attaches to the mask straps behind each ear and rests on the back of the head. The idea is to make masks more comfortable by removing some of the pressure placed on the mask wearer’s ears. Using his 3D printer and experience from his high school’s robotics team, Nathan has been donating these tension relievers to first responders and front line workers since the COVID-19 pandemic began.

Today, Nathan dropped off a large donation for our deputies. We are so grateful for his generosity and feel truly blessed to serve such a great community!
