Congratulations to our 2024-2025 GBMS PTA Executive Board Members!
It is time to pass the baton off to the next group of amazing volunteers.
It has been a pleasure being your president this year and I look forward to all the amazing things you will be doing in the upcoming years. Thank you to all my board members this year I enjoyed working with you all!
To all the staff at GBM YOUR THE BEST and I will miss y'all :)
Keep up the amazing work and I look forward to hearing your names and all the awards you will achieve at future Chesapeake Council PTA and Virginia PTA events and posts.

This year we established the Great Bridge Middle School PTA Wildcat Scholarship for graduating seniors from a Chesapeake High School who attended Great Bridge Middle School. We received 11 amazing applications. The GBMS PTA is excited to announce that we will be awarding two $500 scholarships to former GBMS students Juliana Hipolito and Lydia Williams. Juliana will be attending Virginia Tech to study Exercise and Health Sciences. Lydia will be attending Longwood University to study Mathematics and Finance. Both students were heavily involved in school activities, community activities, leadership and volunteer hours. Congratulations to you both and we wish you the best!

Life is a Picnic when you have amazing staff members! We appreciated all of our GBMS staff members today with a good old fashioned picnic! Complete with onsite grilling by our own BB’s Q and Provisions and Big Red! Thank you to all the families who donated to make this a success!!
