💙 RESET INC IS A RESULTS-DRIVEN ORGANIZATION! 💙

We are proud to share that our debriefing meeting with Dick’s Sporting Goods – House of Sport went extremely well!

Our 3rd Annual Community Back 2 School Event had the largest turnout they had seen among the events hosted at their location. That is a major milestone for RESET INC and a reflection of the tremendous support from our community.

This was also the largest event our Founder has ever planned and led, and much of the coordination was carried on her shoulders. As with any event of this size, we learned valuable lessons, and changes have already been implemented to make the experience even stronger moving forward.

And now for the exciting news…

CAMPOSTELLA, WE BACK OUTSIDE! 🗣️💜

August 29th, we’re bringing Beyond the Label Day: Back-to-School Edition right back to our folks — and we’re looking forward to another day of good energy, real resources, great connections, CULTURE and COMMUNITY. 💯

Free food. Groceries. Haircuts. School supplies & giveaways. Games. Prizes. Live dancing. Community resources — and our Beyond the Label Youth Graduation Showcase, where our young people will hit the runway displaying the wearable art and original streetwear designs they created themselves. 👑

Because our culture is art too. Streetwear is art. Fashion is art. Design is art. And giving young people healthy ways to express themselves, create something that represents them, and be celebrated for it is part of changing the narrative.

This one means something to us because Campostella is home. These are communities we know, people we love, relationships we’ve built, and an area that has been part of the Changing Narratives Now story from the beginning.

Seeing the businesses, organizations, community partners, volunteers and people from the neighborhood continue to lock arms with us is exactly what this is about. Everybody brings something to the table, and the whole community gets stronger.

Who May Apply: Families with children ages 0 to 12
Service Area: Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Franklin, Smithfield, Surry County, Isle of Wight County, Southampton County, Northampton County, and Accomack County
How to Register: Families can apply online by visiting: https://www.saangeltree.org/



Families should be prepared to provide required documentation during the registration process. We would greatly appreciate your help sharing this information with the individuals and families you serve. Please feel free to forward this email, share the registration information with your staff, post the attached flyer, and distribute it through your agency’s communication channels.

Every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. The Salvation Army Angel Tree program helps provide Christmas gifts for hundreds of thousands of children around the country each year. Buffalow Family & Friends is excited to welcome the community back to another Buffalow Market!

Join us Thursday, August 27, 2026, at 12 PM for our Food Giveaway and Back to School Supply Giveaway. Families will have an opportunity to receive fresh food and other available grocery items, while children in need can receive school supplies as they prepare for a successful school year.

All children receiving school supplies MUST be present. No exceptions. Food and school supplies will be distributed while supplies last, so we encourage you to arrive early.
