💜 THE CUSICK FOUNDATION SUPPLY DRIVE 💜

Supporting Domestic Violence Survivors in Calvert County
Now through October 31, 2026

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and The Cusick Foundation is collecting much-needed supplies to support a local Calvert County organization that provides assistance to women in need.

For someone leaving an abusive situation, walking away may mean leaving behind nearly everything they own. Some women arrive at a shelter with little more than the clothes they are wearing. Having access to basic necessities can provide comfort, dignity, and one less thing to worry about during an incredibly difficult transition.

💜 WE ARE COLLECTING:
• Feminine hygiene products
• Laundry detergent
• Body wash & bar soap
• Shampoo & conditioner
• Deodorant
• Toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Paper Products
• Cleaning Supplies
• Other personal-care and everyday essentials

Are you or someone you know still in need of a backpack and/or school supplies for your child(ren)?

After providing donations to local shelters, The Cusick Foundation has a few backpacks and school supplies remaining, and we would love to get them into the hands of local children and families who could use a little extra support as the school year begins.

If you or someone you know is in need, please reach out. All requests will be handled respectfully and confidentially.

We are getting close to the end of our Back To School Drive, please help out if you can. There are multiple options, you can either make a financial donation, drop off items, or have items delivered from Amazon or whatever shopping site you prefer. Text me for the address and Remember all donations will be entered for a chance at 2 box seat tickets to one of the remaining Chesapeake Baysox games this year.

On August 15, 2026, The Cusick Foundation proudly celebrates one year of serving our community. What an incredible journey it has been! Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to provide emergency essentials, support community organizations, and bring hope to individuals and families during difficult times.

Everyone who has supported The Cusick Foundation between August 15, 2025, and August 15, 2026 will automatically be entered into a drawing to win:

Who is eligible? Every individual or organization who has made a contribution during our first year, including:

The winning supporter will be announced shortly after our anniversary celebration on August 15, 2026.
