KCBS KIDS Q — FRIDAY NIGHT!

Just a reminder that our KCBS Kids Q is happening Friday night, and it’s FREE for all kids to enter!

10 & Under Division: Ground Pork — anything made with ground pork
Junior Division (Ages 11–16): Pork Loin

Meat is provided for the kids! They do not have to be part of a cook team to participate. Any child can sign up and get involved!

It’s a great opportunity for the next generation of pitmasters to have some fun and show us what they can do!

Here is the time line for next weekend everyone i will be emailing it as well shortly.

Here are the timelines for the weekend so everyone can plan accordingly:

Friday

- 12:00 PM – Friday load-in begins
- 3:30 PM – Cooks/Team Meeting
- 5:00 PM – Kids Que (ages 10 and under) – Ground Pork
- 5:30 PM – Junior Que (ages 11–16) – Pork Loin
- 7:00 PM – One-Meat Rib Competition – Rib Turn-In

Saturday

- 6:00 AM – Saturday move-in begins
- Following move-in – Meat inspection
- 8:30 AM – Mandatory Team Meeting

Saturday Turn-In Times

First Competition

- 1:00 PM – Chicken
- 1:30 PM – Ribs

Second Competition

- 3:00 PM – Chicken
- 3:30 PM – Ribs
