Sharing Cherry Valley’s Bounty

Today was my second time hosting a booth at the Cherry Valley Farmers Market. And I couldn’t have wished for a better day. The wind died down, the sun came out, and friends from far and near gathered to share their talents and homegrown goodness. I tasted gooey apples baked into a cinnamon roll, sampled zesty pickled carrots and candied pecans, and marveled at the cutest knitted monsters I’ve ever seen. But the most delicious part of my day was the time spent visiting with the amazingly friendly folks from right here in our community. Next time you’re looking for the freshest vegetables, the sweetest organic honey, or the perfect handmade gift, stop by Cherry Valley Farmers Market. If you’re lucky like me, you’ll also find a few new friends.
